Library Display Showcases 75 Years of Local Pharmacy History
(Neenah, Wis.) – Morton Pharmacy, first established in downtown Neenah in 1932, will commemorate its 75th anniversary this month. The company recently installed a display in the lobby at the Neenah Public Library to exhibit historical articles from the third-generation family-owned pharmacy. Items on display include an old scale, medicine press, pharmacist’s show globe, and several obsolete medicinal products and toiletries once found on pharmacy shelves across the country. Vintage ledgers, prescription files and reminiscences from local citizens who remember the soda fountain at “Mort’s” are all part of the display. The exhibit will run until August 6, 2007.
